**Job Summary:**
The Community Health Center of Buffalo (CHCB) is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their team on a full-time/part-time basis. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting dentists in providing dental care to patients. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, dental office experience, be independent, flexible, maintain personal integrity, and effectively collaborate with patients and staff. While a NYS registered Dental Assistant is preferred, it is not mandatory.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist chair side using the principles of four-handed dentistry
- Seat and dismiss patients, maintaining a clean operatory and dental laboratory area with approved disinfectants
- Maintain dental equipment per manufacturer's recommendations
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments, expose and develop radiographs
- Manage an inventory of dental supplies
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, making appointments, and using computerized patient information systems
- Interact professionally and supportively with patients of all ages and backgrounds

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma
- Dental office experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks like sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching

**Compensation:**
- Hourly rate: $18.10 - $21.64 for Certified Dental Assistants
- Hourly rate: $17.10 - $20.64 for uncertified candidates
